FITE wins 1st at Grand Prize Pitch Day!
After months of working to develop FITE, we were selected to present at “Pitch Day” before a packed audience at Blum Hall and a panel of experienced and noteworthy judges! FITE placed 1st in the Campus and Community Impact category, winning an additional $5000. This brings our total funds to $13,000 - we are so honored and excited!

FITE wins 1st at Big Ideas!
The 2016 Big Ideas Contest winners were just announced, and FITE film places 1st in its category! After competing against 266 student teams representing more than 750 students across 16 different campuses, FITE was awarded $8000. We are so honored! In addition, we have been invited back to compete in Grand Prize Pitch Day, where we have the chance to win an additional $5000.

a big idea
FITE film core team attended the Big Ideas @ Berkeley orientation + kick-off event this week! As a finalist for this UC-wide grant competition, this documentary film and resources project has the opportunity to win $10,000 for funding, after submitting a fully detailed project proposal. Excited to keep moving forward with research and pre-production planning!
